Denis Haack spacer Denis Haack
Principal/Director

Denis is the author of The Rest of Success: What the World Didnít Tell You About Having It All and has written articles for such journals as: Reformation & Revival Journal; Eternity; Covenant; and, World.

He holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies degree from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis. His undergraduate studies were done at the University of Minnesota and University of New Mexico.

After a few years of living in a Christian commune (yes, thatís right, they were hippies), he staffed a church as a youth pastor and was recruited by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship where he eventually became area director of New Mexico, Arizona, and part of Texas. To support himself and his family, he did everything from pumping gas to delivering flowers to starting a janitorial business that didnít boom until he gave the business to a friend who took the idea and ran with it.

Before he and Margie owned a home, he always declared that their lawn would be made of rocks so he wouldnít have to mow, but heís now the proud owner of a self-propelled Honda lawnmower which he also uses to mulch every leaf that blows into the yard.

For little-known (read: personal) facts about Denis (that he might prefer you not know) and the beginning of his ministry, his interview might interest you.

Ransom Fellowship
spacer Today spring is in the air and explosions tore lives and property apart in Brussels. The contradiction seems too great to be possible and yet it is real. Beauty and brokenness that both stagger the imagination. Every worldview and religion agrees that something is wrong, but each proposes a different solution. It is an issue worth some careful reflection and conversation.

Ransom exists to try to encourage that sort of reflection and conversation. We hope you find our website stimulating even if you come to different conclusions. Some issues just can't be ignored. Thanks for visiting.
